Join the 2BBB Youth Content Team at the 2026 Bellingen Show
Are you interested in radio, interviews, storytelling, media or just having a go at something different?
2 Triple B FM is putting together a Youth Media Team for the 2026 Bellingen Show. We’re looking for six young people aged 14 to 24 to work alongside 2BBB volunteers on Show Saturday, interviewing volunteers, entrants, performers, exhibitors and community members across the grounds.
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn basic interview skills, work with recording equipment, build confidence and help capture the stories of one of the Shire’s biggest community events. Youth participants will receive training before the Show and mentoring on the day.
The interviews recorded at the Show will be edited and shared across 2BBB platforms after the event. Content may be broadcast on air, featured on the 2BBB website’s on-demand platform, used in social media content, and provided to the Bellingen Show for its own website, social media and promotional use.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Youth Media Team, you may:
- conduct scheduled interviews with key Show personalities
- do vox pop style interviews with attendees around the grounds
- work with portable audio gear, mobile video capture and microphones
- help capture the atmosphere and stories of the Show
- contribute to content that will be shared on radio, online and social media.
Who can register
You can register if you:
- are aged 14 to 24
- are interested in media, radio, interviewing or storytelling
- are available for the Bellingen Show on Saturday 9 May 2026 (10am-3pm) and/or Sunday 10 May 2026 (10am-3pm)
- can attend a training session before the Show, 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm Saturday 2 May 2026 at 2 Triple B, 52 Wheatley Street, Bellingen
What happens after you register
Registering your interest does not automatically confirm a place. 2 Triple B will contact people who register to discuss suitability for the project and confirm the final team.
