Your show page is a window into your show’s essence and style.

It’s a great way to encourage people to tune in – they can find you by browsing our program guide – and you can share the link on your social media.

Show page elements

Your page includes a header image, a brief show description and links to your web and social media accounts. You also have a profile photo that will appear on the Program Guide.

Header Image

This appears at the top of your show page.

This image sets the tone for your show. Make sure it captures the essence of your content and aligns with our station’s vibe. The aspect ratio for your header image should be 13:4, ensuring it looks great on the page.

Show Profile Photo

This appears in the program guide.

This doesn’t need to be a photo of you – it can be anything that reflects the essence of your show. It needs to be square (1:1 aspect ratio).

Brief Show Description

Craft a concise and engaging description that gives visitors a sneak peek into what your show is all about. This is your chance to pique their interest enough to tune-in.

Social Media Links

Links to social media accounts for your show can help your listeners stay connected and engaged. Personal social media accounts are not suitable.

Images

Images need to be the right size to fit in the template. Your show page won’t work if they are too small or the wrong shape.

When it comes to images, it’s important to understand:

  • Image dimensions: Images should fit within 1300×400 pixels for the header image and 600×600 pixels for the profile image. We can help you resize and optimise your images if needed.
  • Image file size: The file size of your image can’t be under 200KB.
  • Image quality and resolution: Aim for high-quality images that look professional and clear. If you’re unsure about image resolution, we can guide you.

Remember – it doesn’t need to be a photo! Artworks, cartoons or icons are all ok.

If you’re not sure, send through the image and we can see if it is suitable. Email it as an attachment to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Show page image’.

Show description

We want your show page to shine, which is why we encourage you to provide the best quality images and copy.

While we will respect your show description, there might be occasions when we suggest edits to ensure clarity and professionalism. Our aim is to enhance the user experience and maintain a consistent tone across the website.

Writing tips

A good show description will engage your audience, giving them a glimpse of what to expect.

Summarise your show’s essence in a few sentences. What’s the theme or focus of your show? What sets it apart from others?

Highlight the genres or types of music listeners can expect to hear or the topics you cover.

Example:Join me for an electrifying musical journey that spans decades and genres. From 60s soul to 2010s dance – tune in to ‘Sound Fusion’ for cool tunes and insightful artist stories. Feel the rhythm come alive.

Image requirements

Copyright

It’s crucial to only use images you have the rights to or those available in the public domain. Breach of copyright could result in significant financial liability for the station.

If it was taken by someone who has shared it on social media, you could contact them for permission – but keep a copy of any messages.
