About The Presenter & The Show
After arriving in Bello in 1990 and becoming aware of 2BBB, Solomon was always keen to present a show of his favourite music. He did the training course twice but each time chickened out before lighting up the "On Air" sign.
Being a presenter was definitely something that was well outside his comfort zone. But music in general and Global / World / Folk / Roots sounds in particular (with some jazz, punk and hip-hop thrown in for good measure) have long been among Solomon's passions. Ultimately the lure of the studio in Wheatley Street proved too strong, and most Monday evenings you can now hear Solomon hosting the Local Global Show on 2BBB.

If you would like to find out more about any of the artists featured on the show, most of them have a myspace page where you can sample some of their music, find out where they are playing live and (often) connect with them in person.
Aside from 2BBB, over the last twenty-odd years Solomon has written what has become a free online e-book about the Legendary Nineteen Eighties Punk Jazz Saxophonist Xero Slingsby. It's called "NOW THEN" and contains music, videos, photos, interviews, weblinks and prose.
