Jota is the artist and DJ name of Jonathan Fisher. This Canadian bornjoti Psychedelic Trance artist has been part of the global movement for quite some time. After spending several months in Tokyo in 1996 he was introduced to his first Goa-Trance experience…a mind expanding experience that made Jota’s direction clear! DJing began the following year using the name “Fisher” with Deliria Productions. By 2001 Jota began producing Psy-Trance tracks, debuting them in Mexico 2002. Now based in the beaytiful forested area of the NSW mid-north coast, Jota’s music has improved with the experience of 6 years of events in Australia, Canada and Bali. A more refined sound ans vision has developed through performing to many different dance floors and in many different environments over the years. “Fundamental Shift” is slower than most of his tracks.
